THE SPIRIT OF LEE MILLER
Opening night : Wednesday 6th of July with a in conversation between the grad daughter of Le miller, Ami Bouhassane and Misia-O’ . RSVP only.
A capsule exhibition of black and white photographs, as a tribute to Lee Miller intrepid’s life and photography career starting with surrealism. More Than A Muse
More than a Muse.
Not just a face on another artist's canvas... they are more than that, more than a muse.
Eight contemporary artists showcase new work in celebration of women from art history who have often been eclipsed by their title of 'The Muse'. Artists whose stories deserve to be told and have their work celebrated. Who didn’t just inspire great art, but also created it, yet are rarely seen as a creative force in their own right.
This exhibition is an opportunity to tell and reclaim these lesser-known narratives.
The exhibition will be displayed at the Scottish Storytelling Centre from Tue 8 Mar - Sun 10 April. No tickets required. Please note in March 2022 the Centre is closed on Wednesdays.A selection of my new Limited Editions prints will be exhibited among 7 other artists ( painting, photographers, sculpture, writers..) at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh between the 8th of March to the 10th of April 2022.
Rebirth - Private View at 99 projects gallery
“Rebirth”, a group exhibition in London featuring emerging and more established artists with works including paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics and limited edition prints.
“Rebirth is a joyful exhibition featuring artworks that make the heart sing and give hope for brighter days ahead. A rebirth after the darkness of winter and the dark days of the pandemic. Now more than ever we appreciate the beauty of nature, the sound of birdsong, the emergence of blossom on a tree, or the rejuvenating power of a walk in the woods.” Lee Sharrock, curator.
The exhibition will run from Friday 4th March to Sunday 27th March.

Octo Muse
Having created projects on gender and “racial” stereotypes previously, this project explores narcissism and female misogyny.
Having created projects on gender and “racial” stereotypes previously, this project explores narcissism and female misogyny.
“Octo Muse” uncovers the invisible trauma inflicted by narcissism (NPD) on its victims, and in this case particularly to female artists often reduced to the title of “Muse” by their "creators". Using abstract and portrait photography, surrealist poetry, video montage and ethereal music to invite the viewer into a storytelling narrative, this topic is directly linked to my RCA dissertation and illustrates a part of my research touching on psychoanalysis, metaphysics and philosophy.

An ongoing portrait photography project showing Tino. An ex-gangster turned artist.
Born in wealthy Chelsea borough in London, Tino was nevertheless brought up in deep poverty in a tiny council flat in one of those towers. Poverty in the middle of the richest borough of London. Through Tino’s eyes, I came to discover real social injustices and urban poverty. A strong beautiful man, Tino’s revolution is via his art, his body and his voice. An ambassador against knife crime, Tino remains a living target for gangs and the police force . Tino was attacked once, after leaving my photo studio, he was stabbed in the back . A few hours prior to the attack that day, we had shot a rather spiritual series in my studio It showed Tino’s soul leaving his body. To be frank, those pictures scared both of us. It was not an intend shot, but just happened that way. When Tino left, I reminded him to leave the gangster life, that his destiny was now as an artist. 20 minutes later, he was stabbed, ‘luckily’ near a hospital. He only survived because of his great health and physical form. A year later, his best friend was not so lucky.
A small exhibition showing a few prints to introduce this beautiful soul and its many multilayers.
